Does this seem right? I've just paid £135 for the SV (1 year NCB, no points etc) but when I look for a CBR600RR the cheapest I get is £670 TPFT.
I knew it would be more expensive but that seems obscene!? |

That seems more than I would have thought.
For example... I paid £350 FC on a 2006 SV650 Sport with 1 Years NCB, No points and No claims. Garaged. Fairly risky postcode, has to be garaged. When I got the 600rr I had 2 years NCB, everything else the same as the above and it was about £550 FC. Seems alot for TPFT. |

i spend hours trying insurance on various bikes just to see what i can get and the worst i have had is prob about 9k on a busa, one of the best i have found was about £800 FC i think, on a ZX12R, it seems to be a proper cheap bike to insure.
im looking at about £600 TPFT for a K4 GSXR 750 when the restriction is off. |

Similar experience, R6 always seemed to be the cheapest to insure, not a whole lot more expensive than an SV tbh.
Just be looking at my renewal and it's looking to be about £350FC this year. |
