Default Bike Chocks

Well, I had one delivered two days ago and I can't believe how bloomin useful they are!

I bought it so when I come in from the track I don't have to reach for a paddock stand and faff about. Just drive straight into it and get off.

But since it arrived it's been used for various other stuff including moving bikes around, a full rear end stripdown and as a support stand when working on the bikes engine.

I got this one delivered for only £60 via fleabay! I can't belive I haven't bought one earlier!

Has anyone else got one?

That looks great! And for £60!

The recovery agents we use from work charge an extra £100 just to use one on a recovery!

I may be on E-bay...

Can you leave the bike in it without fear of the bike falling over?

I only trust my ABBa stand to do this

Yep! Just drive it in and jump off. It even came with Anchor bolts to secure it to the garage floor.

Its so secure I winched up the back end and stripped the rear using it today...

And it goes into the back of the van for transporting too.

Love it!

£60 well spent then, plus it aint bulky or fiddley to get the bike into, which is what I find with the Abba, although its nice and secure

Maybe. This is the company who sent out a small flat-bed to recover a Bentley Continental GT that had been abandoned on us, left locked. The small truck broke under the load, so they sent a bigger one. That one was damaged as the car was taken off it at the yard.

The recovery agent billed the owner of the car for the broken and damaged trucks. The bill was over £1000. He paid in cash, no arguments.

Looks a cracking bit of kit.

Probably won't be so easy to get the bike into if it's not bolted down at track though. Maybe you could screw it to a plank and wedge the plank under wheel of van.
