Default Rim tape - yes or no?

Hi there, I have tried to look everywhere to make sure this isn't a duplicated thread. All over this place I keep seeing awesome looking bikes with some nice rim tape.

However it seems to be a conflict of interest so wat is the view.

Rim tape yes or no......

May as well ask pointy or curvey? IMO, it's your bike so do it if YOU think it looks good.

I see difference of opinion coming up...

I love it!

The florescent stuff is excellent too for pulling out of turning in the dark!

I have normal tape on my GSXR 600:

On a sportsbike? Chav!!

On a supermoto? Acceptable, but only because they're the most Chav form of motorcycle anyway

Well, save for the scooter perhaps...
