Default Battle scars from the Cat & Fiddle

Glad I had one of those Fixer-Peg thingymajigs from that bloke on here

After a low side on the Cat & Fiddle on Binky & Lissa's Peak District ride out, an inspection revealed all the sliders did there job perfectly

Bar end sliders ground a bit but saved the lever and body work

R&G's took the bigest hit but did their job well

Swing arm sliders / paddock stand bobbins kept the rear in the air

I had a Fixer-Peg on already, that ground a little then snapped the end off the lever and is still usable

but as luck would have it, I was carrying a spare

apart from that there is very little damage

The frank thomas textiles wore through one knee down to the armour

All I got was a sore elbow and sore bum

all in all quite lucky

Seggons has sent me the footage of the peaks rideout

Here!

At around 42s, you can clearly see Seggons forks compress over the pothole that I think contributed to my off. I don't think my rear shock could take that hit.

After about 46s, you can see that the bike is raised from the ground with only the Barends, Swing arm sliders and crash bungs touching down.

Without them, I think the repair bill would be a great deal more.

awsome, I wondered if this video would surface, I thought it was one if the corners under the trees as they were slippy.

That corner is ****, I have done almost the exactly the same thing, the surface is terible and the bump on it nearly made me loose my front end once.
