Cool OXFORD Hot Grips,

iv fitted the heated grips to my sv,good. but they are wired up to the battery. i know if i leave them on.im sure to flaten the battery.. I'm sure i can wire the live to the ignition wire.(brown) is that OK to do????.http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?im...a%3DX%26um%3D1

Not sure about your brown wire wiring idea.

But if you want to see an easy way to wire them to guarantee they won't flatten your battery, I can help.

I've had my hotgrips wired in this way forever, and they've never given my reg/rect or battery any bother.

Use a relay switched from a circuit that only comes on with the ignition
