Default 2000 SVS has no power

Hi, after being away for a few weeks I decided to take the bike out. When I tried to start the bike on the electric start the battery was weak and wouldn't start, motor turned but no fire. I recharged the battery and tried again, but the started wouldn't then turn over. I bump started the bike and all was fine until I tried it again the next morning. I had the same issue, ignition on but the starter wouldn't turn.

I changed the battery and now nothing happens when I put the ignition on, no lights or any power.

I have checked the fuses, all seem fine and tried two batteries with no success.

Does anyone have any ideas? May be the rectifier is shot?

The bike has an alarm and immobiliser fitted but is not working now the power is gone.

Thanks

Well try the fuse, but these things don't go pop for a laugh. You probably have a broken wire, insulation or connection somewhere.

Have replaced the main fuse and the power is restored. The starter still dosen't work tho.

Any ideas what this could be related to?

Is there anyway I can test the rectifier to see if there are any problems there?

Thanks

I have charged the battery and tried with a jump pack. The power has now been lost again with no response with the ignition on. (No lights or starter)

I have chacked and replaced the main fuse but with no luck this time.

Does anyone know any reason what could cause this?

Cheers
