I dont know why Metzler have done that, they already had a indcator on the tyre, i.e. if you arent wearing away the elephant then you arent trying hard enough.

Thats annoying - might have to check whats suggested as an alternative fitment for the triumph, because the M3s that these are replacing are their recommendation. I don't want every tom, **** and harry being able to quantify how hard I'm not trying (from MCN, 5 on there is supposed to be 45 degrees).

Dude, a tyre is a tyre. Put whatever you want on it that suits your riding. Balls to what the manufacturer recommend, look what suzuki think is good for the SV!

Oh right for a minute there I thought you were blindly paying attention to the manufacturers recommendations.

I know I go on a bit but I would put storm STs on it, you saw in Scotland those tyres have plenty in them for road use.
