when i press the horn button i can here a slight clicking and my headligt dips any ideas what i should be checking.

The horn?
Seriously. Put 12v across the terminals, see if it works but sounds like its done the normal horn thing. Druid

They crud or corrode up with lack of use. I've 'fixed' them sometimes before by just cleaning it! There is normally an adjuster screw, you may get somewhere by cleaning it and playing with the screw.

Mine always used to work when I checked it but after riding a while it wouldn't (not that I had many occasion to use it!) I worked out that as the engine heated up so did the horn...! Moved it up to the headstock and never had a problem since. |

i got a k6 and i had to change myn the other day all the weather getin in to them

K5 horn is too close to the rad, move it a few inches away and they are allright after that, had the dealer reoplace 2 horns under warranty till they moved it. 4 1/2 years without a glitch then.
