Default Brake caliper pin seized.

I am giving my front brake calipers an overhaul but stuck at the first hurdle. After getting the caliper off the disc and removing the retaining clip I can not get the pin out, it is seized solid. I even removed the caliper completly to get a better shot at it but still it won't budge. It has been soaked in WD40 before hand but now I'm stuck, whats the best way to remove it now? Thanks.

A few choices but neither are quick.
You can use;
heat and penetrating oil and pliers to work it lose,
a drill through the caliper behind the hole that the pin goes in to and punch it out, and the way I did it last,
cut a notch in the pin to locate an old screwdriver and punch it out using it like a drift.
Be careful not to damage the caliper or your fingers. Both are easily done!

Drill a hole through and knock them out

the last one i did i had to cut the pin then wiggle the bit that was stuck. then i found a suitable pin, drilled a hole for the 'R' clip and it did the job just fine. i do have a lot of different metals laying around though, which helped
insert the new one/old one back with a fair amount of copper grease

Thanks, got it with heat and wd40 took a while though.
Pistons were also seized in so decided to put the compressed air on it. The bloody things shot across the driveway like a bullet. Luckily they didn't get damaged.
