Default 33 BHP With A Sports Exhaust

Hey there, im currently a member of the 33 bhp club with my naked 1999 sv650, i dont find a problem with my 33 BHP restriction i think its quite ample to get me by for two years especially after riding small capacity two strokes most of my life. Although i have just been given an akropovic slip on can that would fit my bike. This would solve my one complaint about my bike not being loud enough (loud pipes save lives!!!) just wondering if there was any way of restriction that would allow me to have a slip on. i was thinking maybe a washer inbetween the link pipe and silencer?? any ideas??
thanks very much

why would u need a restriction in the exhaust if its restricted in the carbs?? hmmm surley u want plenty of booming noise from the rear right?

yes but iv been told that having a performance exhaust will increase the power, hence why i havent just ripped the baffles out of my existing exhaust

Would make virtually no difference to power, my ~80hp 700 managed to just about get 34hp with restricted slides in.

Standard bike with just a slip on? I'd be shocked if it was over 33hp.

Neither of my slip on cans give extra power...and thats on non restricted bikes. Shoving a washer or something in there, is surely going to **** it up and choke it to death. It'd be like riding around with a sock stuffed down the end.

You're talking 1 or 2 hp on a de-restricted bike (if that), no way it'll make that much difference to a restricted one!
