Hi All,
I'm in the market for a new bike & have been test riding a few middleweights. I loved the Gladius - until I got off and looked at it. I really don't think I could live with those colours, seat and design. But being middle-aged & with a dodgy shoulder I couldn't live with the low bars on the SV650S. The high bar conversion for the SV650S from 998cc.com ( http://www.998cc.com/comfort_kit_+_handlebars/307 ) looks like it's just what I need. Before I part with the dosh, has anyone any first-hand knowledge of this kit? Many thanks OilySock |

There's quite a few who've bought these and been very pleased with the kit
Sometimes 998.com's customer service is found to be a bit wanting, although I've no personal experience of this, only what I've read in posts.

Are you sure you're looking at the right bike? Seems silly to buy a new bike that doesn't do what you want and then modify it. Maybe try a few different bikes for fit, like Versys, V-strom (same engine as SV), or even F*zer. SV 650S is fairly sporty layout, not just bars but footpegs as well.
