You will have to bear with my description of this problem, im not very good on whats certain bits are called
Pointy k6 When you pull the clutch lever in it obviously pulls the cable, and then it looks like it turns and pushes a rod into the engine or gearbox. Where the rod is going into the engine block there appears to be oil coming from there How much of a problem is this? Is it serious/expensive? Any ideas on how it can be fixed? cheers matt |

There's a seal on the pushrod, this can leak, but before assuming that's the problem are you certain it's engine oil and not chain lube?
If it proves to be engine oil and the seal ummm - doesn't, fortunately it's not difficult to replace.

I have had a look at it with the engine running and whatever it is is definatley coming from where the rod goes in to the engine block. The bike is up on a paddock stand at the mo as im giving it a clean and a once over before the mot on thursday. At first i thought it was the acf50 coming off the engine but its definatley coming from the rod
Is it easy to fix? |
