I use these...

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-C...8920774&sr=1-1

Had them for yonks now, normally use them on motorway journeys. Used to be able to just hear the rumble of the thou and can hear the 650 just about, when turned right up.

They are really good noise level and bass, not too much. Even when the ipod dies, they double up as ear plugs are they sit right in your ear. Sennheiser and one of the better makes, they are normally £40 in Comet, Currys etc, but amazon are uber cheap.

Check the reviews on Amazon too.

For the £14 (or whatever it was) I paid, i can't complain if fake or no fake, they do the job and have lasted a few years of being abused by the element ( i used them on my mountain bike too) and being wrenched around by my lid when putting it on.

+1 to the Sennheiser CX-400s.

Don't use them when riding, though.
