Default Removing Rear Pegs

Hi again guys and gals.

I am wanting to remove my rear footpegs as my bike (2001 fully faired) has a seat cowl and I bought the for myself and no one else! Also, I am not comfortable taking someone on the back untill I've got alot more experience myself.

Couple of questions. Obviously on the side with the exhaust on I will need a hanger becuase the exhaust mount is incorporated with the footpeg. I assume this thing will do me:
http://www.rg-racing.com/browseBike/.../EH0025SI.aspx

Second question. On the other side of the bike, is there anything I can put in place of the footpeg to hide the mounting point and make it look a bit tidier?

Thanks in advance.

Toby

When I took my rear pegs off I made a disc lock holder so the holes had a "purpose". I, like you thought they looked wrong without pegs attached.
I used some foamex board (free from a local signmakers). Cut it to size and added a couple of spacers so it didn't foul the rear hugger.
Here are a couple of pictures. Sorry about the uality but I have just taken them and it's dark outside.

If you're going for the high level exhaust as mentioned in your previous post you should get a custom hanger supplied with the can and link pipe. You might want to leave the pegs on until you've got the new zorst before wasting cash on a hanger.

BTW I'm liking the disc lock holder. Consider that idea nicked!

Yeah that has crossed my mind. But I feel my bike looks a bit daft with a seat cowl but pegs heh!
