Default Halfrauds oil - free screwdriver set.

Just been to get some oil from halfords for my DRZ oil change and picked up the 5L as its cheaper to buy more.
Anyway they have a offer on a free screwdriver set (if you dont already know) but its only on selected halfords oils on the list and not the one i bought, but i took it the till and asked the guy why it said any halfords oil, semi or synth 5L, anyway kinda forced him into letting me have one and had to concede the sign was misleading.
Get yourself down there if you need some screwdrivers.

YEah spotted that the other day but at a glance thought it was only car oil and suspected cheap screw drivers (although still worth having for nowt)
How much did the oil set you back?

Nothing wrong with the Halfords Semi synth oil.

From memory last time the offer was on, the screwdriver set offered uses pozi-drive, not philips heads though...

I got the 10w40 semi synth(motorcycle) for £24 and the screwdrivers are the professional range apparently.

Nice, I'm gonna double check whether the putoline I buy is 4l or 5l and possibly get my ass to halfords. Used a mates staff discount there the other day and got one of their halfords professional tool boxes/chest drawer things for under £20! Doesn't feel too biscuit tinny and is exactly what I've been after for a good while.

We bought some oil for the Maverick and ended up with 2 free sets of Screwdrivers ( it has a big sump ) They are a decent set. Certainly worth picking up IMHO.

I was sacked (OK, that is quite dramatic, I was made redundant) from Halfrauds a couple of months ago, so if any of you do go in and buy this stuff, demand your screwdrivers and give them hell!

Tell them that Jayne was very hurt!

Halfords (and everywhere else) are cutting back all over the shop at the moment

I think their business plan of 'paint the shop orange and overprice everything in there, then stock lots of fake carbon crap and tacky alloys to attract moronic, money spending, corsa wielding, chavs'
is failing..
