Default Damaged Ign

Anyone got a broken Curvy ign lock?

Don't care about if it has keys, I'm actually just interested in the wire/plug/internals as I want to stick it into a GSXR ign lock. I've got a perfect mint (and brand new) lock, I just don't want to ruin it....

I don't have a curvey one, but have a Triumph one with a key if that'd work?

Depends, does it have the same plug as the curvy SV?

I'll dig it out, but suspect it won't.

Thought you were just going to butcher it when I read the post, but if it's gotta plug straight in that might be a problem! Completely missed (ignored) the word plug I think!

Yep, the GSXR1000/750/600 ign lock I have uses a different plug to the curvy SV, the original plug off my broken lock I've got wired up to a switch and while I have a standard SV lock it doesn't fit (the GSXR yokes) and as its brand new I'd rather not butcher it...

I've got an ignition off a K7 750 - the plug is the same I think...let me know if you want it (can send it with the yoke)

Nah, I think K7 is same as GSXR1000K5/6 which is the same as pointy (which is different to curvy).

Thanks anyway.

Do you have a picture of the plug? Is it the same as the curvy?
