Default well done National Express

I am very pleased with National Express. My daughter was due to fly home from Scotland last night but of course her flight was cancelled. So had to look at other options. First choice - the train. a one way ticket from Glasgow to London came in at a hefty £120. Thought I'd try the buses and was pleasantly surprised a bus from Glasgow to London one way came in at £20. Bus takes an extra hour but she will not have to get on and off 4 times like the train. only extra will be the travel sickness pills she will need to buy.

Blimey, Glasgow to London for 20 bucks is a bargain at any time, let alone now when they could be hiking the price. Think how much the fuel would cost to drive it.

Well in my car it would be around £60-90 depending on how heavy my foot is

I still think we should've left her up there

salt into the wound there Stu. Saying that I was a bit relieved when she did fail, was not keen on her driving to Scotland a week after passing her test. She is now planning driving up in the summer instead, dont blame her wouldnt want to be stuck in the car with Jess, Connor, Libby and Adam either

Trains are not good at short notice, but Virgin do a direct Glasgow Central to London Euston service that takes about 5 1/2 hours (city centre to airport, 1 hour check-in, 1 hour flight, baggage reclaim & back to city centre, that time competes with the plane!). If you book in advance it can be as cheap as 17:50 each way.

she cant read on the bus or she will puke. she has got a ton of sweets and her ipod. she is used to doing the journey in the car - alexandria to guildford 450 miles approximately 6 times a year for 3 years. once off the bus she gets train to clapham then to woking then to aldershot. she will be leaving balloch at approx 8am and arriving into aldershot at about 11pm. then up for first day back at college next morning lol
