Default Bike Safe

Thanks to this forum I attended the Leicestershire Bike Safe at the weekend. It was a fantastic day and as a new rider of one year I gained loads of knowledge.

Whatever your level of experience, I would throughly recommend it. The Police instructors were brilliant and we all had a good laugh.

And the best bit? It was free and that included lunch!

Many thanks to the forum member who pointed out the course (sorry can't remember your name!) and the three instructors Bryn, Johno and Rob.

I attended one a couple of years ago in Tavistock. What a great day out, and excellent value. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to brush up and learn a few more bike skills. I know coppers sometimes get a bad reputation, but these guys were fantastic.

Yup! I went a few weeks ago.
Brilliant day. A couple of people didn't turn up so it was three coppers to two atendees .
two of the coppers were advanced level 1 and the other was a level 2? who trained the trainers!
Can't fault the day in any way. No patronising lectures, just great advice and seeing that I got one to one tuition that was a bonus too!
Even the free lunch was spot on!
Got to say though, I did feel a bit uneasy doing nigh on three figure speed on the way back down the A46 and M1 with three coppers right behind me

I'm booked on the Humberside Police session on 6th June. Looking forward to it.
Its not free like some force areas, but still excellent value for £35 I reckon!
