Got new leathers today from Toby (Cheers dude)
and basicly i commute on the bike to and from work all week. mon to fri i wear suit trousers, shirt and shoes. then fridays i wear jeans and t-shirt. Now that i have the leathers. i want to use them all the time (as i should ) ive tried them on with my jeans on underneath and theyre a little tighter, but seem fine? and i dont look too daft ( i hope ) i can image wearing the suit trousers wont be as tight as the jeans as theyre thinner. just wondering if this is something other people do or if its something thats frowned upon and if so does anyone have any other ideas? cheers Pez |

I used to but have recently stopped, if they only fit with properly with jeans under then do it but if not then don't. If I wear jeans under mine it strains my knees loads and cuts into the back of them.
The main reason not to is so you don't stretch them, they're supposed to be tight so the armour can't move and to a lesser extent to slow bleeding if you get cut up in a crash (or so I've read) - also comfort. I imagine suit trousers would be ok though, if not just put them in a bag and change when you get to work. That's what I'd do.

You can get jeans underneath? I think leathers are meant to be a bit tighter than that mate!
I just wear base layers and put my work gear in my backpack. Wearing work trousers underneath my leathers plays havoc with my sharp iron creases! ![]() |

I wear thermals in winter (to keep warm) and a training top and trousers in summer (to keep cool.)
My leathers are so tight no chance of wearing clothes underneath, as leathers should be ![]() |

I wear tracksuit bottoms under my leathers but mainly because mine don't fit anymore after loosing a couple of stone. Handy in winter when it's cold.
