Midweek blast today

Well me, Carl (Berlin) and David (PunyXpress) went for a bit of a bimble today. Met both of them in Helmsley square at 12, then headed down to York and onto Squires for a pastie (read 2) and a cuppa. A few bikes in the car park and a black SV650 (Anyone on here by the name of Oli?) parked up.
Turned round and came back through York before the rain caught me just outside of Thirsk and rained all the way home, christening my new leathers! Heated grips were a godsend as they helped keep the chill off.

Great little ride out, missed going out through the week so I'll have to get myself back on shifts. No pictures guys sorry, but must do it again soon!

Started raining just north of York and Tipped it down all the way to about 2 miles form home where they haven't had a drop all day . Thats a rain shaddow area for you! Washing is still on the line!

Yeah will have to do it again! Im still available all week however tomorrow i'm cleaning the MX5 as ive got a couple of viewings lined up.

Shona, I bought the Scorpion (will get some pics of it in the next day or two) I really liked the Scorp on the SV and was more than happy with the quality. This one came up from someone who didnt like it and was on when he bought it. He swapped me it for the standard can so an effectively free mod! Really pleased with it but it will definitely attact the BiB so I might have to replace the baffle.

Carl - you're the second barsteward that's called me a hooligan today. Stop it, or I'll have to start living up to it.
Rob's can is a special Arrows Amplifier - nowhere does it claim to be a silencer.
Did you like the ( stealth ) arrival in Helmsley - that's what happens if you only manage half a backfire ?
Next one? How about tomorrow?
And as for boosting the economy I reckon our consumption of fuel, pasties, tea, tyres ( Berlin ) & coffee did that just fine!

Like I said, can't do tomorrow David, but should be free the rest of the week (all dependant on when people want to come view the car).
