Default Wanted: Decent 125 offroad bike

I am after a decent condition 125 road registered crossed or an enduro.
A friend is looking to get into greenlaning but hasn't got a licence yet so will be on leper plates for a short while.
Anything would be considered depending on condition and age etc.
He's looking to pay upto about £1500.

If it's not road registered, then it is possble to get it registered but wil be looking for a lower price due to the costs of registering it.

Anyone know of anything?

Ahem... would a Husqvarna Wr125 tickle his fancy?
I've got it on eBay for £1600 but there's always a deal available for an 'Orger of course!?

Certainly I'd gladly knock off the eBay / PayPal fees that I'd be saving for starters, and I really need to sell this!

I did look at yours and said to him about it but distance is the real issue there.

I've got a trailer and would be happy to do a half-way stop if that helps things any...? I'm actually heading down to Preston / Wigan tomorrow to possibly pick up an SV with a pal, so I might even be able to combine the two trips?

The deal with this is I bought it off a mate who's gone over to Oz for a year, I've used it for playing on for the past couple of months and now just need to get the cash back on it for a house deposit.

I've stuck a set of tyres on it (both are from another mate that races and he's changing his tyres after every race, so these are almost new), put a new gear lever on and given it all a good checking over.

It runs really well, brakes etc are all good - it's just a luxury I can't afford to have at this moment in time.

I had one in the '80s for a short while, brilliant.

I meant a much newer one than that lol, mine was a 2003 plate and it sold for £1200 18months ago with only 12000on the clock. Recon you'd pick up a bloody decent one for £1500 and their nationally reccognised as a brilliant learner bike so you should be able to pick them up nationally pretty easy.
