Can anyone suggest what luggage rack will fit my curvy SV?
The one that fits behind the grab rail on the tail end - not the pannier types. Need one to stick bits and bobs on and stick my topbox on now and then --- ohh but NOT givvi racks!! see here why ------>> http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=151390 So any other racks that will fit?? |

IF it's not for a topbox, then a rentec rack
If it is for a topbox, then an SW Motech rack (is that the right name?) |

Or alternatively get the Renntec and bolt the givi plate to the rack. I have to say I've used GIVI on 3-4 bikes and have been very pleased with them. I know of a fair few folk on here who use GIVI on their SV, so it could be just a f**k up by their distributor on this occasion. alpinestarshero most certainly has one on his curvy.
SW Motec look better but are more expensive. |

For the aesthetics, the SW Motech ALUrack is the easiest on the eye, but not the wallet. Have you thought of bolting the GIVI rack onto a spare rear seat? Worked a treat for me for many rides and trips away.

Thinking of getting a trumpet now so may never be fitted. |
