OK so i'm going along on the mountain over here once i'm over about 80 going round bends seem to be fighting the bike, im very light possible need for a steering damper?
Or how can i adjust my forks and shock to help, (standard both) apart from hagon progressive fork springs have been added. Can anyone take a quick look on ar10 or even better advise before i go so i don't have a poo ride down. I'm running about 33 front and 36 rear psi on tyres aswell. |

Is the stem nut tight?
Could it be just you getting used to the springs or possibly something not put back together right? double checked everything?

How much do you weight Matt?
not a great deal can be done with the standard stuff, but if you want I'll give it a go at the AR and make sure it's working as it should. Cheers Mark.

Were the progressive springs uprated from standard spring rate?
9 1/2 stone isn't much so anything more than standard rate could be too stiff. As a short term combat you could increase your rear preload to try and keep the rear of the bike higher up...although you may then find the back too stiff also.

So the progressive springs are the same spring rate as the standard springs?

by definition the spring rate will change with the loading, although saying that some springs called progressive are actually just twin rate ( as in a tight wound section added to a looser one).
No worries Matt, if I don't find you I'm a slow moving target, so look for the bald cripple... ![]() Cheers Mark.
