I am selling my little Honda CRX on Autotrader and I can't believe half of the replies. Surely people aren't that gullible as to believe the promises over payment?

I will make an electronic transfer to your bank for more than the sum requested so that you can refund the difference to person collecting the car for me.Please send me your name and address with the account number and sort code of the bank you would like the funds paid into

Yep. Mine wanted to send me a cheque from his partner for £3,500 for me to take out the bike payment and £30 for my trouble and give the rest to the people coming to collect the bike. The best was that he really trusted me with his money......................WHATEVER!!!!!!!!!!!! You're not getting my details !!!

That's a bit selfish. What about the poor money launderer you're putting out of business? It's their livlihood you're taking away from them!!
