Right I fitted a 750 SRAD front end on the SV last year, haven't ridden it much since due to getting the Tornado. But was looking at it the other day and the front end is twisted, with the bars straight the wheel points slightly to the left.
I've tried loosening everything off and bouncing it about to see if that sorted it but to no avail. The only thing that I can see that is wrong is that the front wheel does have a ding in the rim from a pot hole What's likely to be the culprit for the wonkeyness?

Got same effect on my bike - bars slightly to right when going dead ahead. Took it for MOT on Saturday & strangely everything is bang on line & straight, no bearings lose or anything - the tester is uber keen. He used straight edges along the bike to check front & rear wheel alignment & its bob on - so im beggared if I know - be interesting to see if anyone can shed a bit of light on this.

Is it simply that you haven't lined them up properly? Stick a new wheel in there while you're at it, anyway.

I'm not overly mechanically minded but like if the stem wasn't like aligned or something it could cause that to happen, like on a pushbike?

No because the forks go through both sets of yokes, it could however be twisted yokes

Sounds like the forsk aren't straight in the yokes. Not uncommon when the entire front end has been in bits. Try this:
