Default Shoddy service

About a month ago I ordered a sprocket from moto-racing.co.uk (AKA Hi-way Transport Services, 11 Pinewood Road, Matlock, Derbyshire, DE4 3HN )

Now this was just after a race weekend with 4 weeks till the next one so plenty of time for it to arrive.

I didn't get a confirmation Email for the order, The order trackin system on their web site didn't recognise me. With a week to go to the race i decided to follow up the order by phone as it hadn't arrived two weeks from order. the phone just continually rang out for three days.

So I sent them an Email... No reply.

So, as an alternative, I called a company that advertises in Bike magazine claming that they only have three negative feedbacks out of hindreds and not to worry because the are trying harder. Well, make that 4 because I asked the guy on the phone to confirm with Renthal that they could get me a sprocket in 4 days for the racing. He said he'd call me back in 5 minutes. 5 hours later I called hm back but he as "busy". He never did call back

Now a couple of points.

1) Never ignore or put off a dud who races as he's likely to buy a whoooole load more parts than your reular street rider.
2) How bloomin' difficult is it to buy a bloomin' sprocket?!

So I called B&C express and they took my order and two days later the Sprocket arrived. (Hurray!)

I then Emailed Moto-racing.co.uk to ask if my order had ever arrived and to ask them to cancel it if it did.

I did the race meeting and returned home. 4 days AFTER I got back the original sprocket arrived from moto-racing.co.uk with no apology, no reply to either Email or a phone call to tell me they didn't have it in stock (like they claim in their terms and conditions)

How the hell are these people still in business?

Some companies have no idea about the importance of customer satisfaction.

Still, moto-racing.co.uk will have made a loss, so that might make them think about it.

Ebay is one of the safest places I find, generally people dont want bad feedback on there so you get the good service...

I was gonna say - Try B&C express (but you did in the end). They are pretty damn reliable and I get them to send stuff to NZ!
