Not all of me, just my left kidney.

Just back from the docs where I was told over the last couple of days I suffered acute kidney failure. So, back into hospital I go... happy days

Hope you're ok in there Lozzo. As said before, I only have one fully functioning kidney...the other has about 10%output or whatever you call it. Last time I saw a doctor for it was in my teens, not had a problem since.

Hope you get the same end result mate as I know only too well how painful it can be.

I've been to the docs today to get referred back to Addenbrookes for treatment for a neurological condition I had 5 years ago that's decided to return. The treatment is Lumbar Punctures.... can't wait

The needles in the spine are just about bearable, cant feel the pain, just the needle grating against the vertebrae is quite a disturbing sensation.
Last time I had to lay down for a week after, if i tried to raise my head it felt like my skull was being crushed as they had halved the amount of cerebral spinal fluid in the void that is my head. Has to be done though, the alternative is permanent loss of vision and I cant ride my bike like that, can I??
