Default Waterfalls, location advice please.

Well spring has come around, I've finally started getting out on the bike and getting my camera out again, I did some waterfall pictures 2 years ago and they came out looking nice but I could do with some different waterfall locations the ones below (sorry for tarting my images again but it also helps illustrate my point) they were taken at nant mill, only one real sizeable waterfall but I know there are more lurking about in the surrounding area so any you know of (even if they are the far side of north wales) let me know as I might be passing sometime so would be nice to know about.

as always, any and all advice greatly appreciated

I know loads from kayaking, here are a few that sprang to mind..

Conwy Valley Area

Afon Crafnant through Trefriw (find riverside path)
Gray Mare's Tail near LLanrwst
Pont-y-Pair, Betws--Coed
Fairy Glen, Betws-y-Coed
Conwy Falls (at top of Fairy Glen)
Machno falls (falls into Conwy Falls)
If you walk upstream from Penmachno bridge over the Conwy, you come to another fall about 700 meters upstream. Be sure to stick to the feint path as the area is SSSI due to rare ferns, damage to which can lead to prosecution.
There is another good fall on the Conwy upstream of here, but access is sketchy. Best I explain face to face, in case you start from the wrong layby.

Snowdon Area

Pont Cyfyng near Capel Curig
Cobdens Falls at Capel Curig
'Joe Browns' falls at Capel Curig (behind joe Brown's shop)
Nant Gwryd where it flows into LLyniau Mymbyr
Nant Gwryd 1km upstream of Cwm-clorad-isaf
Nant Gwryd from LLyn Cwmfynnon to Pen-y-Gwryd Hotel
Anywhere in LLanberis pass
Afon Glaslyn below Beddgelert (especially as you can get the steam trains passing by now) AKA Aberglaslyn Pass
Afon Cwm LLan in Nant Gwynant

Dolgellau Area

Torrent Walk (Afon Clywedog) at Brithdir (follow footpath)
Afon Gamlan at Ganllwyd (just walk upstream and take your pick)
Pisyll Cain (Afon Gain)
Rheadr Mawddach (Afon Mawddach)

Bleanau FFestiniog Area

Afon Cynfal
Afon Goedal
Afon Prysor after it flows out of Trawsfynnedd reservoir

I know loads, just a few for the melting pot to keep you going

To whet the appetite, this is Rheadr Mawddach

There's a great big waterfall at Rhiwargor, at the other end of Llyn Efyrnwy from the dam. And another really tall one at Pistyll Rhaeadr about 3 miles from Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant.

Yep that's a good one at Rhiwargor and more to be found if you follow the road over to Rhos-y-Gwalia (and a bally good ride to boot!).

If you carry on around Lake Vyrnwy from Rhiwargor in a westerly direction you come to another minor road that leads up to Bwlch-y-Groes that has a small river cascading beside it (it's a stream called Eunant), lots of opportunities on there. Parking the bike might be an issue, it's pretty steep. If you carry on up the road toward Bwlch-y-Groes, then turn left at the T-junction for Dinas Mawddwy. Just after the double hairpins at the bottom there is a spectacular fall high to your right, but only on wet days. Carry on down to Aber Cywarch and there is a pretty fall by the road but more if you take the road up beside the stream.

And one I meant to mention yesterday, Rhaeadr y Cwm on the Afon Cynfal (I did mention the Cynfal), access off the B4391, a mighty fall that is spectacular after rain.

Yes it's Jon, shown that vid on here a few times. Never miss a chance to big up my kids! Lowri is in this photo somewhere, halfway down.

Brettus - This bad boy is on the Mellte in South Wales, so did not include it in any list. Plenty of this kind of stuff down there if you want me to point them out.

EDIT: OMG that image is huge! Nicked it off one of Lowri's boating buddies... (he has some fancy DSLR that takes huge piccies)

This little beauty is quite local to me, involves a bit of a hike to get photos though Brettus.

Afon Aled, above LLansannan.
