Just had some Pirelli Diablos fitted, £180, and the tyre fitter said to run them at 31-32 front and 30 rear for a track day at Brands I am doing I believe his info to be accurate but was suprised at such a difference, especially on the rear.

Thats about right. It's because the tyres work so much harder on the track and therefor get hotter. If you were to check them again straight after a session you will probably find they are up around the 34-36 area. I like mine around 32 hot which is normally about 30 front 28 rear cold but if it's your first trackday start where he said.
