Just going through my bike's docs and the seller didnt mention this had alpha-dot on.

Wonder if it'll lower my premium

I think they all came with Alphadot as standard ....... won`t lower your premium much , maybe about £3

just registered it in my name as well, the thing is i want more alpha dot things but not sure i can get them

Pft, not even worth the £15 fee!

As it happens I was given 2 kits by a nice Policeman a while back

Awful company. When I bought my bike, they refused to re-register the bike, I must have got the work experience kid that day. So when I asked who would be contacted if the bike was stolen and recovered, they told me that it would be the former owner.

In the end they finally agreed that I now owned the bike and cancelled the account, where upon I gave them the middle finger! Bunch of idiots

When i bought my sv i spoke to a guy about changing the name on the registration and he said it'd be £15. I said i didnt have it at that time (genuinely didnt, and before you ask no, i didnt buy the bike!) and he said i could pay it as and when and if i didnt then not to worry.

I had a letter confirming change of registration within a couple of days

I didn't realise there was a charge for changing owners details - I too thought it was free. IIRC, I went onto the website and started inserted my details, up until the point where it asked for payment details. I simply logged off at that point. A couple of days later, I received a confirmation letter saying that the details have been changed and that it was now registered to me - result.
