Default New to the SV and questions.

hi guys n gals

i pick up my new sv next weekend just wondering if you could help me with a few things. im not sure on the model to start with its a t reg with no fairing and a round headlight, and also a tube frame.. the current owner says he has all the fairing for it and he also has raisers for it. is it likely that its the model that comes with raised bars and hes put the clip ons himself?

im thinking about streetfighting it and have seen a few idea's that i like the look of. ive seen a few with a single sided swing arm, does anybody know which bike the single swing arm comes from and is it a straight fit or is there modification needed? also ive seen some with a different front end with fatter forks (upside downies) am i right in thinking the gsxr front end fits?

cheers for any help guys
kiers

It's an SV650, on a 'T' plate most probably an SV650X if it originally had no fairing, it a faired one originally an SV650SX.

Hondas are common, and no, not by a long way.

Oh yes.

A number of different GSXR front ends have been used.
With your bike, a Curvy, it's not as easy a swap as later bikes have the same bearings as the GSXRs in question.
