Anyone got a metal detector????!!!

And everyone (including myself) was worried about Guy Martin.

Hope the physio works well for him as he is a great lad. Had the pleasure of meeting him at this years TT

Good lad, fighting spirit. BBC NI had an few words from him in hospital. Guy said right from the start no big deal. I shall certainly be watching the progress and keeping fingers crossed for Conor.

I think with all that metal work I'd seriously consider giving up, particularly road racing. The risk of future injury and paralysis must be increased when you suffer an injury like that.

Best of luck to him, but i'd go see those fairies on the bridge and see what they say

Ouch thats looks sore. i've managed to stay free of metal work but the risk of injury/paralysis is still there.
Knowing Connor he probably won't let it dictate what he does.
I would be more concerned over the other physical affects that could result from that

Wishing him the best of luck on the road back to health

Also saw the interview last night & cant get over these people, they tend to fob it off as if it's nothing. Looking at the state of those xrays, that is a bit more than nothing & all they want to do is race again.
Watching Guy Martin scrapping with Gary Johnson in the 600s, you just wouldnt have believed he nearly died about 6 weeks ago, they are mental (in a good way)
