If the speedo is in MPH then it's a UK model, as the Euro models cannot switch between KM / Miles like the UK versions Can :0)

Ehh,
Did i miss something or can you not simply hold in the right button on a pointy's clocks to switch between mph/kph? So this point is then not correct/accurate. The French do have power restriction on their bikes but I wouldnt imagine its all that different from the power restrictions Learner's get here. Check the codes on the ECU and post them for folks to compare? |

UK models are switchable between kmh and mph, foreign models are not switchable and will only read kmh. Its something to do with Construction and Use regs in UK, but Johnny Foreigner hasn't got to worry about all that malarky, he just rides on kmh all the time in the third world countries he comes from.

Have you flicked all the way through the manual? Most manual's I've ever had with my bikes are usually made up of the same 20-40 pages of information repeated several times throughout the book in a variety of languages...

So for instance you can have your zzr1400 over here with a full BHP of 197. But in France you should only expect to find one with its nuts cut off...at 106bhp. Same goes for anything else, dunno what BHP a SV1000 is, but if it is French....it might not have what its supposed to have under the tank.
