Default Buying advice.

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and I'm looking to buy a used SV 650 (preferably unfaired version). I've seen one advertised at work, a 2000 yr model with 7300 mls, 11 mths tax, for only £1000. Contacted the guy, said it was in great condition and that he'd bought it from new. Only thing that bothers me is that he had first service done, then only had an oil & filter change since.
I know its only done 7300 mls, but will lack of servicing have had an effect on the engine. Is it worth looking at or should I avoid.

Thanks.

as long as the oil & filter has been done it should be fine by the sounds of it? Brake lines may need replacing as the brakes might not feel quite as sharp as they could be but if it's as described I'd prolly snap it up

if that is as described bargin.

If your concerned about the servicing put it into a mechanic for its 7,500 service
