Default Insurance Joke!

I called my brokers tonight (aquote) to change my policy from the 650 to the 1000. They wanted the very reasonable sum of £1475 to change from TPFT to Comp for the next 9 months. the 650 was only £85 for the year TPFT. Needles to say I cancelled the policy
T*ssers!

Any other companies that I could try? I've tried mce, Bike insurer, Go compare, MCN, Tesco compare and Swinton.

Try Footman James. They don't insure under 25's, so their premiums are usually lower.

Pete pays £135 FC with UK and European breakdown and recovery included.

Find the lowest quote you can and then call Carole Nash, they quotes me £600 fully comp originally for the SV. I got a few quotes as low as £400 called them back and they then offered me £320 with full euro breakdown and accident cover.

Not too bad I think considering I'm 22 and only been riding a year.

Ha Ha!
Sv100sz. Just got it insured for £184 fully comp with equity red star. Bizarrely enough it was £6 cheaper if I declared the aftermarket cans and added riding other bikes to the premium?!
Picking up the new steed tomorrow
