Waterproof trousers, which ones are?
Is there such a thing as WATERPROOF trousers?
Biked to work this morning in the rain with a pair of waterproof trousers I've only worn a few times, and I got that "damp" feeling in my crotch area. Considered buying some hillwalking trousers. Don't mind paying a bit more cash if they actually work. Any recommendations? Thanks.

 its great isn't it you think you're safe from the rain and you get off looking like you've ****ed yourselfSorry can't help you, I use a cheap Gelert pair of waterproofs that go over your pants. Work well apart from the crotch problem. I'm looking at RST Razor textile jeans as i've heard theyre good. Just wanted you to know I feel your pain!

Ive got Alpinestars 2-piece and though they are designed for someone 8ft tall, they have repeatedly proven themselves to be totally waterproof in the most torrential rain. Well worth the £90, imo x

Gore tex, but if your on a smaller budger, my Richa trousers with removeable liining for winter have been the best daily bike trousers i've ever bought. Warm in winter, cool in summer, and not leaked yet 3 years in. They get used every single work day!!!

Have a look at the frank thomas 2 piece oversuit set. Comes in a nice little zip bag and the trousers fit under the rear seat.

Of all the waterproofs I've bought (including all-in-one 'oversuits') the only ones I've found to be completely 100% waterproof are my current Rukka ones - not cheap, but worth the money
