can an LED rear light be plugged straight into a curvy electrical system without any need to change anything? Dont know why Ive got it inot my head it needs something

indicators need extra resistance i think but tail light should be ok, but im not 100% on that

I've got an LED panel in my rear light and it works with no problems.
As sunshine says you will need resistors for LED indicators. I did have some cheap LED bulbs fitted before and I did have an issue with them, with the lights switched off if I then braked the dash would light up! this is mine with the LED panel in ![]()

I have a clear tail light with LED bulbs & had no issues with them.

the LEDs run on 12 volts just like the normal bulbs do, so I dont think you would have any trouble with just fitting the tail lights

I had exactly the same set up on a previous SV and had no problems either (except it didn't have the spread of light I was after). My post was more of a warning against cheap LED bulbs

Those LED bulbs look better with a clear lense than the standard one dont they. And thanks for all the replies
