Default Raising curvey tank?

Does lifting the tank on spacers make that much difference?

Will it make the engine run rich/ lean?

Makes naff all difference, imo.

I bought my bike with spacers in to raise the tank, at the VERY most it maybe changed the intake noise. Or maybe that was my imagination.

Performance wise it did fook all, and I took them out because I was sick of the spacers falling into awkward places everytime I lifted the tank.

Depends on your setup if all your doing is raising the tank I doubt it would. If your running better airfilter, bigger jets, performance exhaust system I would think it would.

Mine are top hats that fit into rubber grommets so they dont fall out when you lift the tank.

Not a great change... but if you are going for power every little helps.

It did on mine, but it is running a race can and KN filter. Also jetted on Dyno at Dyno Jet? Malton. Apparently he is really good at setting up bikes, especially carbs.

Allows a better airflow into the airfilter but if your engine is already consuming all it can in its current state of tune it will not burn any more.
