Default Hello

Hi,

I am new here. First SV ride this morning. Great after the bike eventually started and I scraped the ice off the seat. Frozen fingers after the 20 mile commute to work but thoroughly enjoyed it. A little about me;

Riding since 1976
Live in Loughborough, Leics.
Presently work in Nottingham

Own a 02 S K2 in very bright yellow but I had to take the Viper comp exhaust off as it was hurting my ears.

Hi,

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I have been lurking for a while and set my old heart on a SV. No enough miles under my belt to get a true reflection of it but on first impressions it does feel a nice bike to ride. I was suprised at how light it feels. It reminds me a little of my old Honda VF500 - with half the cylinders . Also suprised at how cheap they are! 02 plate, under 12,000 miles, excellent condition, 2 owners, viper comp exhaust and standard one, Sportec M1 tyres, crash bungs, heated grips, Cat 1 alarm and rear stand bobbins for £1100. It even still has the toolkit strapped under the seat. Bargain!!
