does anyone know where i can get some new crimps and connector plug from a pointy sv.
Im fitting the pointy light to a curvy loom, and suzuki kindly fitted connectors that dont match. Ideally id some new crimps for the curvy connector plug, as i have both halves, but no idea what sort they are. (i.e molex, mini fit, mr11 etc) failing that, new crimps and housing from the pointy model. Dont think suzuki offer them, a new loom but not crimps. Orrrrrrr, whats the chances or a minitwin racer having the plug after removing their rear light? Do you racers cut off things like that? Thanks, Lee |

Just chop them both off and use bullet crimps. Remember to use the female crimp on the live side

I don't know if you can get new crimps for the suzuki connector blocks. Don't think they would be done with a normal crimper if you can get them

All the makers use such a variety of connectors that there are so many you'll spend a long time finding the right one - but you might get lucky, and if you do let us know.
If you really need a plug rather than individual bullets just find whatever three pole plug/socket is avalable and change both sides.

Thanks for the 2 links, checked them both out, and the ebay link you posted 2hys is exactly the curvy item I need, nice 1
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I can use a crimp tool at work which will fit these crimps a treat, and had a good look at the OEM connector and the crimps are only held in by a smallretaining tab that can be bent back to remove them. So a nice result on that ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Lee |
