Hi
Pick up triumph on Monday and want to take off scotoiler Can't be arsed to remove seat / tank / air box to get to throttle body pipe for scotoiler Was thinking of just cutting the tube from throttle body used by scotoiler and taping up , is this ok all will it cause problems ? Cheers Steveg

Taking the seat / tank / air box off wouldn't take more than 15mins tops surely...?

I can get to it on my pointy without removing anything. Do in from the RHS using your thumb and index finger as a pincher. I managed to do and put the black nipple back on this way.

You'll need the elbow damper you left on the SV for the Triumph, and possibly a new piece of hose to cut into the Sprint's vacuum pipe. A pair of long nose pliers shoud rwch in to pull the elbow damper off, and then put a new cap back on the brass spigot.

If you need a new pice of hose to fit the vacuum pipe, Scottoiler themselves were supplying them free of charge. I know they did do this for owners of Daytona 955i's, because they sent me one.

This page should help you install it to the new bike
http://www.scottoiler.com/uk/installation-guides.html You don't need any new vacuum pipe connectors |
