Default Recommend me an instant gasket.

An instant gasket for sealing my leaking clutch cover.
Not even going to waste my time with a new o ring/cover

loctite 5910 premium black silicone Halfrauds used it on my leaking one after trying a new 'o' ring and various other sealants that didn't work and so far with the loctite stuff is great

Chris,

See if you can find a local hose/pneumatics specialist/supplier. They almost always keep lengths of nitrile/butyl O'ring material. Take your clutch cover and old O ring with you. They can measure up, use a slightly larger thickness band and then cut to length, superglue ends together and hey presto... no more leaks!

Have run with this for years and no problems.

Rich.

Make sure you clean cover and area well to get ride of old sealant/oil then tighten the bolts opposite each other rather than side by side if that makes sense.

If you go this route just a heads up if needed is keep the glued ends to the top of the cover.

Cheers, just finished doing it. Waiting for the silicon to go off, how long did you leave it for?
