Yep! Similar headlamps and fairings!!
Still, I think it looks quite nice. Better than the smashed up 2004 one I have in my workshop anyway!! ![]() |

Disappointing again from Honda, man even their small bikes are now DULL! I mean in the early 80's they were making 250 V-twins with over 40BHP, now they make a 250 single that makes 26!? Sigh...

And the CBR250 has one main competitor and that is the Kawaski Ninja 250 and imo Kawasaki have got the right formula 250cc parallel twin producing 33 bhp

Certainly closer than Honda at least... Why is it that they aim all the small bikes at the younger or less exp rider? If they made a 40bhp bike with decent equipment I might be tempted to go for the smaller option. Especially as these days its all you need and can get away with. ha ha. NOTE* The V-twins I speak of were actually 4 strokes so not comparing the 2 strokes which are obviously mad up on power... |

I was looking at the Crossrunner, don't really go for trailie type things but it's got quite a few redeeming features but for touring it is a shame about the chain (no, don't start that debate again). Then lurking around in the videos is the Crosstourer, looks basically the same thing but with a shaft grafted on (and dual clutch trans from the VFR1200), but why oh why the spokey wheels? Nooooo.
It's not announced as a 2011 bike, but it's obviously coming soon. Hate to think what price it'll be though, especially with luggage! It fills that gap between the Deauville and the Pan, albeit somewhat different styling concept.

The crossrunner is basicly a VFR800 and the Crosstourer basicly a VFR1200, although the Crosstourer is only a concept at the moment, i believe the idea is for them to replace the Transalp and Varadero
