Which helmet colour?
I am looking to buy a Shoei Qwest as it seems to tick all the boxes, and my XR1000 is over 4 years old now.
I have been looking and the range is limited, and I have previously always gone for patterned finish. However looking at the range I quite like the look of the plain one's especially the matte black, and the white. Anyone seem any of them in the flesh as my local store is off limits because of the snow. Also do plain helmets look pants? |

IMO fella dont buy a matt black (anything).
It gets dirty quick, and cleaning usually makes more marks on the surface. I had a viper helmet in matt black rode through some green flies and they made a pretty mess as they send to do. Anyway when wiping them off they pretty much killed the finish of the lid. Therefore IMHO avoid. Last edited by Owenski; 02-12-10 at 02:36 PM. |
