Ok, good movies = such as The Shining, A Clockwork Orange, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, 2001 Space Odyssey (yeh I love Kubrick), Godather I/II, etc.
but sometimes, you just wanna see bad guys getting annihalated, and Stallone knows where it's at. I thought the latest Rambo was awesome, and am a big fan of previous Rambo's, not to mention the Rocky's, Cliffhanger, Cobra, Over The Top, Demolition Man. Anyone watch The Expendables? I thought it was great entertainment, and one of the most enjoyable action flicks made for some time. Anyone else love it? Can't wait for the next. Stallone is a ledge! Brilliant! It's like the old days of films like Commando, senseless violence and baddie killing. Done with comedy CGI gore which made it a bit less intense for the PC brigade. Was also intersting how they blacked out the 'baddie' army faces so the killing looked less personal, a bit like orcs in LOTR. On a techie note, sound in the cinema was awesome, made me want a Harley.

When Hale clears up with the AA12 automatic shotgun, awesome scene. Bet that sounded brutal at the cinema.
