its a day of festive cheer indeed but that doesnt mean you need to be a mug, if people are *****s 364 days of the year then xmas just means they're a merry ***** for that day.

I'm about 20 miles north of there, on the other side of Rotherham

I would avoid anyone I didn't want to speak to and just enjoy the day. Easy as far as I can see.

Stig - exactly what I did do. I stayed at home alone til 4pm then went to see my lil sis

Lozzo , I have spent Xmas day with just the mutt for company , cooked my own scran and done my own thing ...... the alternative was sit down with people that cannot go 120 seconds without arguing , loads of kids running around and crappin in nappies and a member of the family that is so heavily pregnant it really is a matter of hours before a birth . One of the best Xmas days I have had in a long time .

I spent last night on the Radio, playing a shed load of old Death metal, punk rock and Blues. Was lovely then got up again this morning nice and early and was on air again at 11AM. Best Christmas yet.
