Hi,
After a ride today with IAM my hands in my winter gloves were ICE, so either I get a pair of Dainese gore tex Jerico new gloves and heated grips or Gerbing hybrid gloves and batteries, has anyone got experience with either? how long do Gerbing batteries last? Cheers |

Heated Gloves are better. Heated gloves and muffs even more so .
I've got a not cheap pair of Hein Gericke winter gloves(Gortex, insulated double cuff blah blah), heated grips and muff but when the weather decides to really take the biscuit, I then do wish I had heated gloves. Thatsaid, the muffs are Oxford ones which I've had a while now so are well used... I'd been really tempted to fork out the money for heated gloves during some of the really cold days we've had this year but the fact I already owned two pairs of heated grips , just made actioning the thought a wee bit more difficult ![]() |

HEATED GLOVES. No further discussion required. Glad I could help.

Just re-read your thread. I assume you are talking about wearing gloves whilst riding the bike? If so, Gerbing sell heated gloves that can be wired so as to be powered from the bike battery. No need for batteries.

I've got heated grips on mine, and they're fine. But my dad has heated gloves, and I borrowed them the other week and very nearly didn't give him them back, so much better, and keep hands nice and toasty, even over 130 miles, long after my gloves have given up.

The big difference between heated grips and heated gloves.
The grips will only warm your fingers whilst you are holding the grips. The grips will only ever heat the inside of the hands/fingers. The gloves will warm your hands no matter where they are so the heat is constant. The gloves will heat the back of your hands and the fingers all the way down to the tips. The gloves heat up the parts of the hands which are in contact with the wind. The grips can do nothing about that. The Gerbing gloves come with a lifetime guarantee for the electrics. If they ever breakdown, they WILL be repaired or exchanged free of charge (less postage) no matter how old they are. Worth every penny and more. ![]() |

+1 on Gerbing, once you try em, you'll never touch normal gloves again!

I wanted some with batteries rather than having wires everywhere.
