Dead simple question - but one that I don't know the answer to...
Need to take the fuel tank off to get better access - how do I turn the fuel tap off to stop petrol pi55ing all over my living room floor?! Cheers |

Fuel Tap is vacum operated, i.e. it only lets fuel through when the engine is running, So you'll be fine to disconnect the pipework without the fuel coming out. Assuming that the Fuel tap isnt faulty that is.

pull the vacum pipe off the the valve hold finger over it and start bike till it starves of fuel hey presto no fuel p!!sing anywhere
