Default good six sided sockets ?

was hoping halfrauds had some but they only do 12 sided or impact sockets but i dont want 1/2 drive and need them to go to at least 8mm

i cant afford snap on, but want something as good as halfrauds

these are for work/college so might as well add to my tool selection (while the parents are paying for them )

any ideas ?

mine is 50/50 between the clarke pro and halfords advanced the clarke stuff is far superior.

only downside is you can't order single sockets from clarke, so teng or draper is the next best bet for loose

tiz a pity halfuds dont do an entire range of the advanced pro 6 sided as the 32mm one i've got is the doggyz doodazz. it grips the sides of the nut just before the points. they are 6 sided but with cut outs in them. the 'star' ones are good on new nuts but crap on rusted ones and just round them off.
