Default The painting has started.

Finally got my panels up to my mate to get a lick of paint. We started this evening and got most of them done. They are all the same finished colour but the light has affected the iphones results.
The rest will be finished friday then a flat and polish, a paint of the rear subframe and anything else that needs it and then the refit

Its a Peugeot 106 colour with an added dash of black to darken it as the Peugeot colour was called tangerine. Got the paint mixed with 4 extra tints too and you can really see them face to face. I made sure i got a print of the mix and as it was only £25 for half a litre it was a bonus. The primer is a very good brand then we base coated everything as in the 3rd picture then laid on the normal peugeot unmodified colour and lastly put my colour on before the laquer.

That's gonna be really nice. You can tell from the pic of the tank there's more going on than a straightforward orange.

Looking forward to seeing it on the bike.
